Tim in action

My friend Dave caught me in action from across the room at a recent rehearsal dinner party we photographed up in Denver. I thought the shot was cool because he caught my flash going off plus you can see how much fun everyone is having!

This is what it's like when Image Factory covers your wedding!

We recently received this note from the mother of one of our brides. While we can brag ourselves up all day long, it's words like these from our clients that have so much meaning and give insight into what it's like when Image Factory covers your wedding day:

I can't tell you how many hours I have just sat and looked through
Aerianne and Chris' pictures. They are absolutely phenomenal!!
Some of the pictures have made me laugh and others have brought me to
tears. It is as if I was reliving the whole day! You all caught things that I
never saw.....like Mike putting his hand on Chris' shoulder when
Aerianne and Ed were walking down the aisle.....Aerianne and her
Grandfather....and the precious series of pictures of Aerianne and Chris
right after the ceremony.

We had many of our family and guests comment on your enthusiasm, your
patience, your professionalism, and your ability to be everywhere at
once but not be intrusive. Many commented that you and Tim appeared to
enjoy the day as much as the rest of us did - and would have
thought you were part of the family! Thank you again for capturing their special
day! Ed and I will be placing our order very soon. Also, we would
like for Aerianne and Chris to have a larger album then the one they had
originally planned on. Please let us know what they select.

God's Blessings.

Rebecca

August 11 wedding at Fox Run Park

Last weekend we had a wedding that's probably as close to our own backyard as we'll ever get. We photographed Brian and Mindy's wedding at Fox Run Park in the Black Forest. The wedding was a simple affair but genuine, colorful and we had lots of opportunities for cute flowergirl portraits!

Awesome Family Portraits!

Our clients are really our biggest source of advertising -- it seems everyone who works with us becomes a raving fan and talks us up to their friends so it was no surprise when this family contacted us after receiving a hearty recommendation from our CSCS Cheerleader banquet in April.

We went up to Palmer Lake to make some portraits of the family on their land with the home in the background...

But couldn't resist having some fun with the kids and making some fun portraits for the hallway...

The holidays and Christmas are closer than you think! Now is a terrific time to schedule family portraits with Image Factory and we can take advantage of the evening light, great weather and soon the aspens will start turning!

August 3 wedding at Cherokee Ranch

Last Friday we headed up to Cherokee Ranch & Castle in Sedalia, just a little west of Castle Rock to photograph Olivia & David's wedding. Here are a few of our favorite images...

Real moments -- the first look at the dress with mom & the maid of honor checking out our stunning bride.

Incredible details!

Fun portraits - The traffic heading up was awful...we left Colorado Springs 2 hours ahead of the wedding so we should have arrived a good 1 hour early but a hazardous materials spill on I-25 shut down the road so long that we arrived 15 minutes late! Our good friends from Johnson & Johnson Photography came to the rescue and were already making awesome portraits when we arrived.
It didn't take long to calm things down and start making some fun and relaxed portraits of the bridal party:

Then came the rain! It rained so hard and so violently we felt like we were in a tropical storm! Terry from Johnson & Johnson Photography packed the ladies in his truck and backed them down to the waiting limo.

Dad seeing his daughter as a bride for the first time..

After drying out, Olivia was her happy self and the wedding went on!

The boys looking too cool on the steps of the church.

Time for some quick portraits back at the ranch & castle...

And now it's time to party! Fine food & details from Epicurean Catering.

The guys made sure the bartender got a great workout!

A happy ending.

engagement photos at Castle Glen Eyrie

In another in our continuing installment of coolest wedding couples around, we photographed Sara & Jason's engagement the other day at Castle Glen Eyrie. These guys were totally fun, laid back and most of all, in love and into each other. It's so great to photograph clients that are all about having a great time don't even worry about posing because they totally trust us to deliver incredible images. The fact that these guys are rock-star gorgeous is a nice bonus too!

The highlight of the grounds is a 19th century castle but there are so many other great places for portraits, here's one at the stucco wall by the stables:

On the steps of the castle:

In the courtyard:

The bride will be walking right down this grassy path when he gets to see her for the first time on their wedding day:

You gotta be ready to have fun!

We even had a visit from some local friends:
