Yesterday I was in Atlanta, GA visiting my good friends at the Peachtree City School of Dance and photographing their recital formal portraits. We've been working together for over 5 years and it's always an honor to go back and have so many friendly faces around.
This time was extra special as I got the chance to photograph the proposal of Robby, the owners' son to Mary Kathryn - one of the dance instructors. Congratulations guys!
One of the really cool things about living in Colorado Springs is the free Thunderbirds air show we get treated to every May as the Air Force Academy puts on their graduation ceremonies.
This year is extra-special for the cadets because the President of the United States gave the commencement address. Even more special for one lucky cadet is that he'll have his wedding photographed by Image Factory on Saturday at the cadet chapel! Stay tuned for some great images....

Almost a year ago we gave a family portrait session gift certificate to some members of our church to use at a charity auction. The family who bought it passed it on to friends and this was the result. We went up to Daniels Park near Castle Rock to make portraits of this beautiful family!

Saturday we made the short trip to Manitou Springs to photograph Andrea and Mike's wedding at the historic Briarhurst Manor. This is a very busy wedding venue and lots of local photographers like to show off their samples from here so we had a really good time making some images that I don't think you'll see anywhere else!
Last night Dave from Spartan Images and I went to see Ironman at an early sneak preview. It was terrific. Best 'guy movie' in years. If you like comic book movies, this is one you've gotta go check out.
We're off to a great wedding in Manitou Springs tomorrow so we'll have more images up soon!
