We closed out our double wedding weekend last Saturday with Bond and Jurrell at First United Methodist Church in downtown Colorado Springs.
It was yet another perfect Colorado summer day for wedding photography...here are a few of our favorite images:
Check out the comfy flip-flops! One of my female photographer friends just bought some of these (not in white...haha) because they're so comfortable for all-day wearing!
Bond was looking beautiful in her Cinderella dress and the big doors at the front of the church made a perfect soft box for great portraits.
Bond wanted all the bridesmaids to come up with some hot pink shoes!
I love capturing some of the bride & groom's first moments together as a married couple...those private smiles on the way down the aisle and the real first kisses when they get around the corner!

We headed to the Patty Jewett Golf Course for the reception and some fun newlywed portraits, then dancing the night away with Jeff the Swingin' DJ.
Sunday afternoon we took a break from wedding photography and making albums to go hang out with our HSMAI friends at the Poochy Pool and Patio Party at the fun Nosh restaurant in downtown Colorado Springs.
Dogs of all shapes and sizes came down with their families to enjoy fun in the sun and bring some food for the Pike's Peak Pet Pantry -- a charity that provides temporary pet food assistance for needy families so pets don't get abandoned or abused.
This was a bit of a challenge for me to photograph. Since I haven't photographed a lot of active pet portraits, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to keep up with all the dogs. It turns out they're a lot like photographing 2-year-olds!

Friday we headed up to Evergreen for some awesome wedding photography for Rachel & Nick at the Evergreen Lake House. The weather was perfect, everyone was happy and looking great and our second shooter Phil helped create some awesome images with us. Who could ask for more?

Ready for some serious Bronco fan fantasy? Last Sunday we got to join Abel and Maria for their fun and unique anniversary/birthday/family reunion party at Invesco Field at Mile High in Denver! Definitely something different than a wedding or your typical party, so we really enjoyed this unique opportunity. 
There are parties at Mile High, then there are parties done right. This one was done right -- everyone had a Broncos jersey to wear, they got a personal tour of the entire facility, Epicurean Catering provided some classy stadium dogs, burgers, nachos and yummy cookies, we got to meet cheerleaders, Miles the mascot and even go out on the field! Check out some of our favorite images below:
