May 31 wedding at the US Air Force Academy
Saturday we headed up to the US Air Force Academy to photograph Kathryn & Matthew's wedding at the AFA Chapel. It was a gorgeous sunny Colorado day with just enough wind to let you forget that you're getting sunburned in the mile-and-a-half high atmosphere ;)
Kathryn wanted a 'Cinderella' wedding and she had a great start with this gorgeous dress, the perfect shoes and tiara to match:
This recent AFA grad getting his dress uniform on for his most important mission yet:
Dad and daughter praying before the ceremony.
Escaping the saber arch with a quick swat:
Finally a moment alone!
The AFA chapel is gorgeous and the high ceiling glitters with colored glass. This shot was taken with our cool 'fisheye' lens so we could fit it all in.
One more run through the saber arch and to the waiting guests:
A quick photo session before the grand entrance at the reception. Believe it or not there are about 100 people around us here...we just politely chased them off to the side for this one. I remember telling the chapel coordinator that we had 9 more minutes of time and we intended to use it...glad we did! ;)
Arriving at the officers' club. The guys always look great with the boquet ;)
Yummy! Edible flowers!
And Cinderella slippers:

A romantic first dance...
