August 8 wedding at the Inverness

8-8-08...'the luckiest day of the year'...or at least it was for Wedding professionals. I spoke with a few who were doing multiple weddings on this date and had all their employees covering jobs. Whew.

Fortunately it was much less stressful than that for us and our bride and groom! We got to spend an awesome day at the Inverness Hotel with Lindsey and Clint and here are a few of our favorite images:

Despite days of rain and threatening clouds coming again, the weather held and we had beautiful blue skies for much of the day!






Lindsey chose a beautiful dress and since we arrived at the hotel before she did, we were able to have a nice portrait session with just the dress ;)

The wedding party was really into the portraits...we had a great time, of course maybe it's because we make photography FUN at Image Factory!

The thunderheads finally rolled over but it was too late...we had all escaped to the reception tent. I just happened to catch this lightning strike above the hotel during dinner:

We partied the night away under the tent with cool breeze coming in from the sides -- light years away from our 105 degree wedding last weekend!
