July 25 wedding at the Black Forest Bed & Breakfast

This past weekend we finally got to meet our bride & groom who've spent the last year in Iraq and photograph their fun wedding at the Black Forest Bed & Breakfast just east of Colorado Springs.



Even though we'd never met Misty and Arron, they were excited to have Image Factory photograph their wedding based on reputation and images we've shown through blog posts like this! We knew it was going to be a great wedding and that they'd be well taken care of knowing they were working with TC from Muse Events and Laura from Biscuits and Berries catering!

We started out planning on an intimate outdoor ceremony alongside the pine trees with Pike's Peak in the background:








Plans were changed by one of our Colorado afternoon thunderstorms so TC, Laura and the crew quickly changed up and brought the ceremony under the pavilion where Misty and Arron had a short sand ceremony.



Everyone was ready to party so we did some quick portraits and took the party inside, where they were treated to a mouth-watering menu from Biscuits and Berries: Durango Honey-Tea Grilled Red Bird Chicken Satays, Coleman Ranch Black Pepper Bistro Sirloin and Roasted Chipotle Chicken to name just a few items!
