August 28 wedding at Glen Eyrie Castle - Colorado Springs wedding photographer
Every time I shoot at Glen Eyrie castle I marvel at the peaceful mountain setting that is tucked away right inside Colorado Springs. The quiet, secluded atmosphere made the perfect setting for Mimi and Kevin's wedding at the end of August.
Mimi chose to 'unveil' herself to Kevin prior to the ceremony so they were able to have some nice private time together on the patio:
Kevin was really excited to see his beautiful bride!
The men played it cool on the terrace:
And the wedding party played during our brief portrait session on the front lawn:
Mimi had this cute idea to include a note commemorating all the years of marriage represented by immediate families at the wedding...256 years!
Kevin was right on queue with the dip-kiss!
I love capturing these moments!
We took a little more time for some newlywed portraits and the light was just right so it really paid off!
Mimi & Kevin finished the night dancing under the stars and Christmas lights on the terrace...Kevin was stoked to finally get to show off the suspenders!
As the sun set over the mountains, Mimi & Kevin snuck off to their hotel and we finished another perfect Colorado wedding day!
