August 27 wedding at the Club at Flying Horse - Colorado Springs wedding photographer
The Club at Flying Horse is one of the newer venues in Colorado Springs and we love the Mediterranean look of stone and wood with open patios overlooking the golf course and Front Range, so it was the perfect location for Sarah and Kevin's classy Colorado wedding.
Just a few clouds to keep us cool on a perfect Colorado afternoon:
Sarah and Kevin have lived all around the country so they took the opportunity to make table cards with photographs of each of the places one of them had lived:
Their married name is 'Spork' so check out their cake topper on the delicious cake from Little London:
The stone and wood decor at Flying Horse makes such a warm and cozy atmosphere...it's great for some detail photographs too!
Sarah told us the story of how her shoes were picked out before the dress so she had to find a dress to match...check out these kicks!
Sarah and Kevin chose to see each other before the ceremony to ease timing of the day but that didn't mean we couldn't do a romantic unveiling to the groom!
Sarah even had a 'flower dog'!
Check out these handsome fellas:
The terrace and top of the wine cellar at Flying Horse is one of our favorite locations for group photographs:
The overlook to the mountains reminds me of a prince and princess in their castle from the pages of a storybook:
All the western mountains in the background make for the best sunset backgrounds too!
A little remote-flash setup...eat your heart out David Ziser!
The first dance...
And a perfect night sky...I love the stars in this exposure!
