Labor Day weekend wedding in Kearney, NE - destination wedding photographer
While most people enjoy a little time off over Labor Day weekend, working was a huge treat for me -- I had the opportunity to be second photographer for my best friend Todd Rundstrom of Image Factory Photography (yes we have studios with the same name!) in Kearney Nebraska.
The bride, Danielle, was one of the most organized brides I'd seen in a long time...check out the illustrated itinerary she made for all the wedding party members:
Danielle met her groom, Brandon, at band camp and she was in the flag corps so one of the flags from my own alma mater, The University of Nebraska at Kearney, was the 'guest book'...cute idea!
I hung out with the guys as they got ready...
Mom and her boys...she was so cute with these big guys all around her...love it!
This is the guys walking up the hall to the church but it reminds me of football players in the tunnel heading out to the game ;)
This day was one of the longest pre-ceremony portrait sessions I've ever been a part of...we took the wedding party all over campus at UNK and the nearby park before wrapping up at the church and starting the ceremony. Here are the guys being cool in their shades on the way:
Danielle revealed herself to Brandon at the big fountain at the center of campus...I love Brandon's reaction:
We even got on the football field:
Fun brides rock!
Check out Danielle's bird cage veil:
Yummy cake hovering over a sea of cupcakes...mmm
Great decor at the reception too...a class end to a beautiful day!
